About Haeso

Classification you can defend at clearance.

Built in Tema, Ghana by Docomo, for the people who clear goods through Ghana's ports every day.

Why we built it

Picking the right HS10 code for Ghana's tariff schedule is slow and easy to get wrong. A product description rarely matches the tariff wording, several headings can sound right, and a wrong code means the wrong duty, a query from customs, or a container sitting in demurrage.

Haeso turns a plain product description into ranked HS code candidates from Ghana's own schedule as used in ICUMS, so you start from a short, sensible list instead of a blank search box.

What you can do with it

SearchProducts, HS codes or vehicle makes and models, ranked against Ghana's schedule.
Duty calculatorSee duty and tax exposure for a shipment before it lands.
BatchClassify a whole invoice instead of line by line.
PermitsFind the agencies that regulate a given product.
DemurrageCost delays early, before they cost you.

How we think about accuracy

Every code Haeso suggests comes from Ghana's tariff schedule, never invented. We keep improving the ranking by checking it against real Bills of Entry rather than our own test sets, and we only change what the evidence supports.

The final classification is always yours, or your licensed clearing agent's. See our Terms of Service for the full position.

In plain English

Haeso suggests. You, or your licensed agent, decide.
